Jacki Johnson: Insurers’ role in safeguarding NZ

Speaking in her capacity as President of Insurance Council New Zealand (ICNZ), Jacki Johnson, CEO of IAG NZ, shares her thoughts on the insurance industry’s role in safeguarding New Zealand’s economy and communities.

Jacki joined IAG in 2001 and held several senior positions in both direct and intermediated insurance before being appointed CEO of IAG, New Zealand in 2010. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has held senior positions with Allianz Insurance, HIH Insurance and IRS Total Injury Management. Jacki is currently the President of the Insurance Council of NZ and a director of Community First Credit Union and a member of the Community First Corporate Governance Committee. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a B App Science (Occupational Therapy, Graduate Diploma Safety Science and an Executive MBA.
